National university competition for the design and construction of fixed-wing UAVs
What is the XtraChallenge?
The XtraChallenge is a university competition for the design, manufacture, and flight of UAVs, created in 2022 by students from the Xtra2 team of the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). The competition takes place in Valencia during the month of July and is inspired by the Air Cargo Challenge (ACC) model.
Its goal is to offer engineering students the opportunity to fully develop an unmanned aircraft, from the conceptual phase to flight testing, putting both flight performance and the technical quality of the project to the test.

Objective
To transport the maximum payload and optimize the parameters that score the highest according to the regulations, such as gliding time or takeoff distance.
