TRENCALÒS TEAM
Who are we?
Trencalòs Team is a university association founded in 2006 by students from the ESEIAAT campus of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC), with the goal of designing, building, and flying unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Over the years, the team has established itself as a practical training environment where future engineers develop technical and professional skills that complement and reinforce the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies.
What do we do?
The team’s main activity focuses on participating in various aeromodelling competitions. The primary one is the biennial Air Cargo Challenge, a contest featuring around 30 university teams from all over the world, with the goal of making a fixed-wing UAV with the optimal performance, while following each edition regulations. Additionally, Trencalòs Team participates in the annual XtraChallenge competition, organized by the Universitat Politècnica de València.
