Air Cargo Challenge

International university competition for the design and construction of fixed-wing UAVs.

What is the Air Cargo Challenge?

The Air Cargo Challenge (ACC) is an international competition aimed at university engineering students that challenges them to design, build, and pilot unmanned fixed-wing aircraft (UAV). The main objective is to transport the maximum payload possible in the shortest time, strictly complying with the regulations established in each edition.

The competition was created in 2003 by students from the Instituto Superior Técnico of the University of Lisbon, inspired by the North American contest Design, Build, Fly (DBF). Since then, it has established itself as one of the main European competitions in the field of university aeronautical engineering where about thirty teams from all over the world participate.
